About me

Dr. Martijn Kerkhofs is a post-doctoral fellow at University Claude Bernard Lyon 1. He earned a Master's degree in Drug Development at KU Leuven (Belgium) in 2016 and went on to obtain a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine at the same university in 2020. For his post-doc, he moved to the lab of Dr. Julien Courchet in Lyon, France to study splicing in neurodevelopmental processes and diseases. The lab uses mouse models and advanced techniques in sequencing and neurosciences to gain insights in neurodevelopment.
